NIP + FAB Dragon’s Blood Plumping Serum

nip and fab

After hearing Kylie Jenner mention that this is the serum she uses in an interview recently, I’ve wanted to try it! It’s a “lightweight serum that delivers an instant shot of moisture to dehydrated skin and leaves skin looking plumper”. With my skin being more on the dry side, this sounded right up my street.

It has three main ingredients. Hyaluronic Acid is meant to hydrate the skin leaving it looking and feeling plumper, Velvet Flower adds extra moisturisation and Dragon’s Blood comforts and restores the skin through skin hydration. Now i’m not going to lie, i’m not entirely sure what Dragon’s Blood actually is..I mean dragons aren’t real..

I use this morning and night under my moisturiser and so far i’ve been loving it. I find that it’s a great base for foundation as it has an almost tacky/primer like feel once applied. I’ve defiantly noticed that my skin has been more hydrated, as i’ve seen less dry patches than I usually get. However, I wouldn’t say i’ve particularly noticed my skin looking plumper, perhaps I need to test it out for a while longer to see more results.

I love the packaging as far as the box is concerned, but I was expecting the actual bottle to be a bit better in terms of quality than what I received. For the price (£19.99) it looks pretty cheap.

All in all I would recommend this serum. It’s a great budget alternative compared to other serums being over the £20 mark. If you head to Superdrug at the moment it’s around £13 so defiantly go in now while you’ve got the chance!
