Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 | Review

I’m obsessed with my original Naked 2 Palette, and is something which I use on an everyday basis. Therefore, I was resistant in buying a Basics palette, as I thought I had everything I needed already under one palette. However, as soon as I swatched it in the shop, I had to pick it up. Now, I know I am a little late on this bandwagon, but I still thought I would share it with you all and let you know my initial impressions.

Firstly, the packaging was a key aspect that drew me in. It’s perfect for travelling, as it fits in your makeup bag like a dream. It’s compact and has all the shades you need, all but one being matte shadows. The shadows themselves are buttery and blend beautifully. The one shimmer makes the perfect highlight shade, making this palette ideal for creating any makeup look, whether it be a more natural everyday look, or a simple matte smokey eye. Not only that, but the darkest shade, Undone, creates a great liner!

For my go-to everyday look, I’ve been sweeping Cover all over my lid, smudging Undone by my lashline before applying Skimp in my inner corner and on my brow bone. It takes me less than 5 minutes and is so simple to achieve.

This is such a perfect palette and defiantly a great addition to my Naked collection.

To be honest, in the pan the colours don’t look too exciting but swatched they’re beautiful! Might look into this! x
